when i was changing my oil filter the wrench slipped and hit a line that is for my oil pressure guage. it split where a plastic"harness" and a round metal piece meet. when i do not re-align the piece to it's normal place the guage maxes out. however when i re-align it it reads normal. do any of your know how much hte new piece costs? also, this line does not interfere with the pump right? i figure that it just interferes with the guage because there is no noticeable difference about the motor when i am driving with the split piece.

Not positive but that might be a dealer part. There is a dealer listed in the Grand Links page that offers way below normal pricing on factory parts.

while on this topic, what is avg. oil pressure for a 97' w/ a 4.0 i run just at 40. :newbie:
