Change from command track to select track possible? [Archive] - North American Grand Cherokee Association

Was Wondering If a Swap from a command track to a select track in my 93 ZJ with I6 wwould be a huge task. I have the chrysler trans, not the AW4. Really miss the part time option from my 85 XJ. Would the transfer case from my 85 XJ work or do I need to get one from a ZJ. I know where there is a junked 96 ZJ is though if It hasn't sold.
Just wondering if it is a easy swap out the transfer case deal or do I need to change linkages, drive shafts, or any other kind of adapters.
