greengrandy, do you know of any good trails? I know of a trail in Southbridge but I have only been there once and don't know if I would be able to find it again. Any ideas?

my problem is i live in western mass so i cant tell you anything about out east, i know one trail in milford me and mike went on, and one out in shutesbury i recently learned about but thats it

Yeah, that trail is cool, not sure if it's still open or not. I DO know that there's a few parts that will probably be pretty muddy due to all the recent rain.
I have some work to do to my Jeep next sat, so hopefully I can go if the run is on a Sunday. I need new shocks and my track bar seems to be loose in the frame bracket, I think the rod end is wearing out. Hopefully I can get that stuff done. Oh, and I need to install some bumpstops too. My front tires are tagging the tops of the inner fenders lately, I think it's probably because the springs are starting to sag and the shocks are shot.
There's a trail in RI (I forget the mane of the town) that's pretty cool. Driveshaft Hill they call it, in case anyone has heard of it. It's another powerline trail.

I did here that the one in milford is closed, so i guess that would be out, so is Sunday the best day? what trail is probably the best bet, Driveshaft hill? i just swaped my cv axle shafts for 297 u-joints and cant wait to test them out!
sounds like this run might actually happen!

I'm up for Sunday April 27th. Assumming Sunday works we just need to nail down the trail. Will it be driveshaft hill or the trail in Shrewsbury? As long as someone can give us all directions I'm up for either. I'm in North Attleboro.

i would like to try Driveshaft Hill, i havent been there. If its the powerline one in Shrewsbury that i'm thinking of, then its not even worth the drive, it only takes about 10 minutes to get from one end to the other. so if someone knows how to get there they could maybe Pm or email who ever is interested?
i would say if you are planning on going to post your email here and a suggested meeting time.

9:00 AM somewhere close to the trail head.

ok Sunday April 27th at 9:00AM
now someone has to give directions and pick a spot to meet.

i have to bow out, my bosses in all their infinite wisdom wont let me off work this weekend so i am sorry to say i cant go
04-23-2003, 02:54 PM
I can't make it either. I seriously doubt my new shocks will be here in time for the weekend, and I don't want to go without them.
I DID get my new Heim from RE, so hopefully that will cure my suspension rattle.
I'm going to be spending the weekend cleaning mud out of my brakes, I buried the ZJ to the floorboards in mud this past Saturday. I'm STILL cleaning mud out from underneath it. EVERYTHING was encased in mud, it just dried like cement. Right now it's sitting on jackstands in my driveway with the wheels off. I HATE mud.
04-23-2003, 04:43 PM
I'm up for wheeling anytime (with some advanced notice of course). Send me an e-mail, email@example.com when you get a chance to test out the new shocks. See ya, Curtis

The 4th could work, if we met around noontime.
04-26-2003, 10:20 AM
