This was my face from the extra torque. I got it from turbo city and it cost a total of $159 compared to K&N which was $275. I had to have some help from my neighbor to take of the stock are box because one bolt was being a *****. I also had to use one little (stock) screw to hold the intake tube. I dont know if they welded the peice from the air intake tube that is to srew onto the intake manifold wrong or you were suppose to use some of the stock parts. The extra torque is great and i think i picked up about 15hp. Another extra that i was happy about it that the intake makes a pretty loud whistle and sounds like its turbocharged. I havent got any numbers on MPG because i just installed it today, but in a week i will have some. Overall its a fantastic buy and for 159 bucks i urge for all you wj guys to go out and get it. Their website is www.turbocity.com

Butt dyno seems a little on the optimistic side. The open air intake (FIPK, TC or whatever) AND a 3" exhaust/cat will get you about 15-20 HP. :crazy

...and I got some nice power from it...
Sig: "dyno'd @ 270...."

:spank:

Sorry Pal, but that's all in your head. Both the intake and exhaust would net you about +/-10 HP, COMBINED. I seriously don't think a Throttle Body spacer, Turbo City intake (similar to an FIPK, but less the heat shield), and Magnaflow exhaust, could produce 35 HP numbers - that's absolutely ridiculous. And, I'd have to say, it would be very, very difficult to feel 5 HP at the pedal, beyond any increase in throttle response. But, as always, I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong, prove it and post the dyno slip.... I double dog dare ya!

I got my K&N FIPK for $200 ship'd to my door @ an online retailer and would rather have it over the steel tube Turbo City intake that conducts heat and does not have a heat shield, as minor as the K&N heat shield may be...

Later.

Seems to me it's been a week - got that Ford Dyno slip? :gun:

Noticed the sig changed down to "Dyno'ed @ 260" now... Thats a little better, but probably still a bit optimistic...
