O2 sensor [Archive] - North American Grand Cherokee Association

My check engine came on about a month ago. It comes on and off. My engines is starting to idle rough. for example. It idles to 200 then the 700, as if it is starting to stall out. It also does this when I come to a stop. Itacts like it wants to stall out but it never does. I am wondering if this is the O2 sensor.

Not likely. It sounds more like the IAC (idle air control motor) or possibly even the EGR.
