Right now I have half my interior removed for other reasons. Before I reassemble it, I'm wondering if there are any tricks to do to try to eliminate squeaks and rattles. Of course, eliminating the source of vibes is the key, but I would like to attack it from this end too. Tire howl, exhaust drone, gear and wind noise are one thing, but squeaks and rattles drive me nukking futts!
I've got some peel and stick foam weatherstrip (the real low density stuff) that I'm thinking of applying near the trim joints, under the panels. Also thinking silicone lube under the B pillar trim can't hurt. Any one have any suggestions or experience before I go ghetto and start screwing self tappers everywhere?
