You don't, unless you want to add an idler controller. No point unless it's idling too low (in which case you're asking the wrong question) - or if you want to up the idle at times to power a winch at idle.

If your idle is too low, take off the intake hat and look at the butterfly valve. Is it covered in black soot? I feel like this gets said too much, but maybe you should get some 2+2 carb cleaner and spray down the Intake Air Controller. It controls the air charge into the engine at idle and may be the cause of the low RPM you are getting. What RPM is it at anyway since you never said?

This happened to me over the winter.
Jeep would not idle and would stall when warm.

Took a look at the throttle body valves, they where totally covered and I also noticed the Intake Air Controller valve (solenoid) was clogged.
You might need to carfuly remove the Intake Air Controller solinoid to full clean it, make sure not to try to start the jeep with it out of the throttle body (could extend to far).

once all was cleaned with throttle body cleaner using many q-tips and an old toothbrush, the jeep was running great. I also found a gap in my K&N air tube that was letting dirt in.

If you are up for it, removing the throttle body could make it easier.
