haha I am Austin and I have a wheeling problem!
newjeepr 01-30-2002, 06:35 AM Hello, my name is Craig, and I too have a wheeling problem.
gopher 01-30-2002, 07:25 AM Hello, my name is Todd and I have a Jeep addiction.
I used to live in South Dakota, where I could easily go off-roading every weekend, and working for the state, every holiday would go out to Rapid City and the Black Hills for the best four wheeling in the country. Heck, I even needed 4wd just to get out of my driveway.
Now, I live in Fort Worth, Texas. I'm currently going thru wheeling withdrawal. It is painfull and sometimes I get psychotic. I had to choose between Prozac and payments on my Jeep. I just keep telling myself that I am fine. They are not out to get me. I'm happy. Wheeee! /forum/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif
boonejeepin 01-30-2002, 07:50 AM I' Russ and I too have a Jeep adiction, compunded by a low bank accout. I am still a college student(almost done). The combination of vehicle payments, rent, tutition, and Jeep addiction leaves many unpaid bills, and a large hunger for more and better mods.
riversZJ 01-30-2002, 08:27 AM hey guys my name is Ryan. I am also a college student with VERY low bank funds to spend on the ZJ. I am pretty much stock now but i love to take my ZJ out into the woods on some small trails around Connecticut. Love the new forum!
boonejeepin 01-30-2002, 08:37 AM riversZJ, give me info on your mesh grill, I like it. Did you buy it or make it? If you made it how?
Kraqa 01-30-2002, 10:23 AM Don't worry this forum will take off except it wil lbe hard to take away from JU. i wonder how long it will take to get this forum on the road?? do you guy's think it will be the same people from JU or will there be new commers that have some information to share?? i hope there will be some new people. and i think the moderators could do us all a favour and DO NOT ALOW AAMCO TO JOIN THIS BOARD
SLO MO 01-30-2002, 10:24 AM Hi, my name is Brett and I have a problem too. There's not enough darnn snow in Canada anymore for wheelin!
boonejeepin 01-30-2002, 10:27 AM I think this will end up a place for people like me that just can't wait until the next post on JU and end up looking at this forum too. But, new people would be excellent. Tell a friend.
Va_ZJer 01-30-2002, 10:50 AM New ZJ forum! Woohoo!
ROKN ZJ 01-30-2002, 11:42 AM Hi I figured I stop by to see how this forum was. You know we could always try and limit the discussion on this board to more techincal type stuff instead of:
Can I see a picture of a blue ZJ with 30x9.50 tires on stock rims, and no lift please? I want to make sure it'll fit.
Hal
Stock ZJ 30x10.50s on stock rims that don't rub....

97ZJLTD 01-30-2002, 11:57 PM Hi my name is Adam and, well I can't wait for spring to do some wheeling and fishing.
Stealth 01-31-2002, 12:25 AM Adam, Why would you wait till spring. Some of the best wheeling is done in the winter months. You should read some of the trail reports here on the NAGCA site. Winter Wheeling Rules!!!
 /forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
97ZJLTD 01-31-2002, 01:55 AM Most of the trails around here are also snowmobile trails and they get kinda pi**y if you drive on them. Only a couple of us go and nobody has a winch.

JeepinHank 01-31-2002, 09:38 AM Hi, my name is Hank and I too am a victim of the dreaded Jeep "mod fever" I never found myself looking at other vehicles to get parts ideas, or consider the possibility of cutting off my Jeep's suspension in order to add a new one. I live in Lumberton, NC, once a prehistoric ocean - now a swamp. I'm surrounded by low country sand and mud, but the rocks keep calling me West. Uwharrie NF & Tellico are my new found friends. When I'm able to conquer that (blood, sweat, and thousands of dollars from now), I'll have to find new places to overcome. This is my hopeless cycle. Explore, encounter resistance, and conquer!!!

Maltair 02-06-2002, 01:17 AM My name is Bryan, and I have a family problem! They keep getting in the way, can't spend money on mods, can't get away to 4x, they keep messing up my interior and the wife is always putting groceries in it! The worst thing-> My oldest daugther might be starting soccer this year!
My jeep has died and gone to ZJ hell.
canadian jpr 02-06-2002, 06:24 PM Hey dont forget about us up here in Canada! we also like to go wheelin' to and there is plenty of places to do it. My name is Alex I am a Jeep nut and extatic that I just found this site. Nothing on my 95 ZJ but just waiting for the parts to go UP,UP,UP in the world.
ccissell 02-06-2002, 11:37 PM Bryan-
There is still hope for your ZJ. This Saturday offer to run to the store to pick up some milk or diapers or some other insignificant item. Take the ZJ to the nearest trailhead. As you drive through a slippery gooey spot press down on the accelerator. This will cover your ZJ with a nice coat of Jeep Goo. All Jeep like Jeep Goo. Now for the key to this reintroduction to the trail. Roll all the window down and back up. Go through the slippery gooey spot again and repeat the accelerator step. This will undoubtedly get some of the Jeep Goo on the inside of the Jeep. This is very beneficial if you get some on the dash and inside of the windshield.
Return home, don’t forget the insignificant item, go back into the house and continue your day as if nothing has happened. When your family goes out to the Jeep to go to church on Sunday they will see a REAL Jeep in the driveway. They will do one of two things. 1. Cool Dad….. when do you go wheeling…..why didn’t you take me. Or 2. EEEEK the Jeep is all muddy, I don’t want to get into that dirty thing. Lets take the sedan to church.
If your family goes for #2 then repeat the steps next weekend. They will eventually realize that a Jeep belongs on the trail not in the mall parking lot. Good luck

BuffBakerGA 02-13-2002, 09:13 AM I just found this forum and I like it... Now, I guess I'll be dating two websites instead of just one (Sorry JU). Hopefully we can keep the goobers out of this one.
By the way, I believe that the Grand Cherokee is the best SUV in the Market and hopefully mine will be growing soon... very soon.
ZJ Admiral 02-17-2002, 03:48 PM I just recently sold my YJ so I could buy a cheaper ZJ and spend the rest of the $ on a lift and tires. I'm glad to see that there are so many ZJers out there. I just want to see more of them on the trail.

The Grand Pooh-Bah 03-11-2002, 04:21 AM Actually Moab Austin found this forum before it was even launched to the public, must have stumbled in. That is why this post started the way it did. We were still working out the bugs….. as if that never ends. Im glad that this forum has blossomed the way it has.
For those of you who have migrated here from JU, Id like to say welcome. This forum will never become another JU. JU is an awesome forum and we wish them all the luck in the world. We just don’t have any desires to see this forum get so large that you post something on Monday and it is 15 pages deep on Tuesday. We have watched JU deteriorate from what it was to what it has become. We have learned from their mistakes and have awesome moderators in place from the beginning. They are proactive in watching what is posted and keeping every forum Family Friendly. One of the biggest advantages is that our forum is a one topic forum, Grand Cherokees. Everything has a place and there is a place for everything.
Flame wars, profanity, stupid polls and totally off topic subjects are not tolerated on this forum. This has been the policy since day one and will continue forever. We have a forum for every Grand related subject and every forum stays on subject. More forums will be added as YOU see the need. The staff at NAGCA considers this YOUR web and wants you to be proactive in making it the best place in the world to seek out information on Grand Cherokees.
Again THANKS for visiting and we hope you come back often and tell your friends about us.
NAGCA Staff

twodrezq 03-12-2002, 09:04 AM Hello, My name is chucky, and I am a Jeep addict. Worse, I have addicted my both my sons and my teenage daughter. I know now that there is no help for me. All I can do is try to do good the rest of my life. To start with, I rescued a '94 SE model from the evil clutches of the BLM, and took it home to be loved and cared for all the rest of its life. Sometimes it whimpers quietly in the night, missing the rough country it used to roam, but I comfort it, telling it that North Dakota snow is just as big a challenge, in its own way.
