PDA : headlight bulbs and washer jets.. craig-s 03-24-2007, 03:43 AM hi.. my name is craig and i live in the UK,i have recently purchased a grand cherokee (WJ series),it is the 4.7 V8,it is a year 2000 model,and yes i love it to bits..... as this car is quite poorly represented on forums in the UK for some unknown reason,i was pointed in the direction of this site,and congtatulations to all on what looks to be a fantastic site with a great wealth of knowledge,now here are my 2 queries..... 1,as mine has very poor directional spray of the windscreen washers,and apparently they are non adjustable,i have decided to replace them,are they just a push in fit?,can i simply prise them out with a small flat bladed screwdriver?... 2.i like other jeep owners do not like the poor headlight bulbs,and after reading threads on here,it looks like the Sylvania Silver Star bulbs are highly recommended,the 1's i need are the 9005xs and the 9006xs type (straight fit,not right angled),again these are quite difficult to obtain in the UK,can someone please point me in the direction of a trusted/reliable website where i can purchase the said bulbs and get them shipped to the UK? .. thanks in antcipation,will no doubt be looking for more answers in the future [smilie=bal_ask.gif] Craig.. country_boy454 03-24-2007, 10:00 PM I just placed an order through this website for my 1996 XJ. http://lightlens.com/bulbs.htm Other than that I use MTEC MT-449 bulbs in my 1997 ZJ. I love them. They are a 170/150 watt 4,350K super white bulb. It is a H.I.D class halogen bulb. Got these on Ebay for around $26 shipped to my house. Can't help you on the washers sorry.
