yeah, I just got it for the main songs...I used to buy stuff through microsoft zune but I'm never doin that again. I'd rather have a hard copy and I have to have cd quality...i can't stand limewires quality, not to mention the risk of getting caught or getting a virus. There are a couple of good songs on it though, I guess I should go get the other one...

Bad Religion's How Could Hell Be Any Worse album
Anything, and i do me ANYTHING by The Clash or Joe Strummer.

Story of The Year is great! I have their first album around here somewhere. Dunno if anyone listens to them but Billy Talent is pretty decent, other than the fact they are kinda an emo band. To me it doesnt matter, music is music. Some people are clicky and have to listen to only certain types of music or whatever...just an idea of my current playlist:

Aphex Twin- 4
Eve 6- Think Twice
Billy Talent- Try Honesty
BT- Flaming June

It varies quite a bit HAHA, because I will listen to anything and enjoy it really. Except rap music...yuk :-x , however I really enjoy Wu-Tang Clan, Jay-Z and Ludacris so whatever the fk that means?

50 Cent Gets Chain Snatched -- Onstage -- During Show In Africa

By Gil Kaufman (MTV.com)

50 Cent may have lost a bit of weight for his latest movie role, but the MC is still a force to be reckoned with. A fan in Angola appears to have learned that lesson the hard way recently when he jumped onstage during a G-Unit show in the African nation and snatched 50's chain from his neck mid-song.

On shaky video captured by a fan, an unidentified person can be seen climbing onstage, ripping what appears to be a chain from 50's neck and then jumping back into the crowd. The music stops almost immediately and the crowd can be seen surging back and forth as it appears the culprit is making his way to the back of the venue.

On Monday, the matter was addressed on 50's personal Web site, ThisIs50.com: "Recently 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo were performing in Angola, Africa. Being that security was limited, fans were able to interact with the group on stage. However one fan had a different motive, and bit off more than he can chew, as he attempted to run up on 50 and snatch his chain."

According to the post, "50 pushed him off the stage and jumped into the crowd and then all hell broke loose." The site promised more on the incident soon, including live footage from the chain grab.

Heh heh heh....silly rappers...

current song is "Remorse is for the Dead" by none other than the AMAZING Lamb of God.

BUT, I did just buy two new albums and they both rock. I got the album "End of Silence" by the band Red. And I got "Archetypes and Repetition" by Deepfield. Both are great!

"Breathe Into Me" was Red's big MySpace hit. Kinda reminds me of um...those guys...um...what's their name? Their big hit was "Can You Take Me Higher". The lead singer was a tool that showed up drunk to shows and when sued by fans he said it was part of the show. Can't think of their name.

"So Long, Good-bye"

Keep changing your mind.
Like clouds in the sky.
Love me when your high.
Leave me when you cry.
I know it all takes time.
Like a river running dry when the suns to bright.

So long this is good-bye.
Maybe we'll meet again in another life.
Like strangers passing by.
Maybe we'll see clearly in a different light.

Keep dodging lights.
Like a thief in the night.
The sun will rise and expose all the lies.
So why deny that you and I lead different lives.
The rivers from your eye's can't change my mind.

So long this is good-bye.
Maybe we'll meet again in another life.
Like strangers passing by.
Maybe we'll see clearly in a different light.

The AC/DC is good, because it's what AC/DC fans should expect. The exact same album they've put out countless times before. When you get an AC/DC album, you know exactly what you're buying (Or downloading, as the case may be)!

As for the jam of the moment, lots of Metallica and Lamb of God, because in a week, I'll be at their show!

Also been checking out some new (to me, anyway) stuff (Hatebreed, Kreator)and some old stuff I haven't listened to in a while (Slayer, Sepultura, Anthrax) after watching "GET THRASHED". If you like loud aggressive music, I suggest checking it out.

not metallica...is it just me or does all/most of there stuff sound the same?...they have a manditory metallica time at radio station here and i have to turn station...the crap gets old and its the same sh!t.....

Metallica songs may sound quite similar to you, but It at least just sounds like Metallica...

Well, that really depends on whether your referring to OLD Metallica or NEW Metallica. I mean, let's face it - when you listen to "Ride The Lightning" and then listen to their new stuff, it sounds like a completely different band. I'm not going to get into the Metallica-sold-out argument, but you have to admit that, as of the last 10 years or so, their sound is markedly different than their earlier stuff.

This is true but shouldn't bands evolve and progress in their sound as they age? I mean, the bands that have stayed the same over the years are long gone. I honestly love all of Metallica's music, I have the new album sitting right next to me! The sound difference shows they have matured but regardless, they will still rock your *** off!

I'm just let down that they kept telling us for years that the next album is gonna be like the first four, and their live shows at the time really made me want to believe it (that's where they have matured, the old stuff sounds way better live now than it ever has, I've seen them nine times over almost two decades), and the new ones good, but after two listens in the Jeep, Clutch is going back in the player.

RocKZJ

Very true. I just like them less and less as they explore their "new direction".

I'm just let down that they kept telling us for years that the next album is gonna be like the first four....

Exactly. Some of the fans are nostalgic for that sound, but you can't please everyone all of the time, I guess.

I haven't heard the new album, I'll admit. I pretty much gave up on them when St. Anger came out. If you guys say it's worth a listen, I'd be willing to give it a shot.

Oh, and Metallica's "Fuel" is one of my favorite cruising songs. Especially when it's played really loud.

Current jam, oddly enough: Enter Sandman - by [if you don't know this, you're gay]

Next Jam: Paranoid, Black Sabbath.

It's the 100 greatest rock songs on VH1... Enter Sandman = #5, Paranoind = #4... stay tuned...

#3 - Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin

#2 - Back in Black - AC/DC

**final edit**

#1 - Welcome to the Jungle - G&R.

"Welcome to The Jungle" is still a great song, even if we have heard it a million times.

"Rocket Queen" is my favorite off of that album, though.

St. Anger was awful! Down right terrible crap. There was like one memorable track and I cant even recall the name. Give the new one a listen, its pretty decent. And I agree with you about the "exploring of new sound." A few of the bands I grew up listening to have taken different directions that arent my flavor, yet still good. I suppose thats why we dust off our vinyl and reminisce about the old "them."

BTW, your name... Hendrix?

Yes. Brings back a lot of memories for me, especially the Eric Clapton cover. Layla was one of my mother's favorite albums.

Although, Stevie Ray Vaughn's version rocks also.

Im not really crazy about jungle, im a huge D&B fan and I could go on for hours about the other styles im into. Sasha is incredible, been a fan since the days of "XPander."
