Ok, so I've taken almost the entire dash apart. I'm trying to remove the light/dimmer switch and the rear wiper/defroster/Overdrive switch. I have all the screws out that hold the bezel those two are attached to off but I can't seem to figure out how to slide it over steering column without breaking something. HELP!

I had to take the two bolts out that hold the steering column up. It will lower the whole thing enough to get that off. I had the same problem when I had to replace some bulbs behind the instrament cluster.

its been awhile but I think I just tilted the steering wheel down all the way and unscrewed the tilt lever/rod, tipped the top forward and wiggled it out. its tight but nothing broke. PS if you still need those parts let me know.

did you already remove the black plastic cover around the steering column?
