I have seen a few guys w/ their antenna mounted this way (Jay H). I keep almost ripping the door jamb mount off and the 4' is a bit too tall on the roof. Did you need a special mount to mount it to one of those top holes on the bull bar?

i mounted mine there. does just fine. except i wish i had some kind of "quick disconnect" for it. other wise - no problem.

Did you have to use a special mount or what? Seems like the holes are kinda big compared to my antenna. Or did you just use some washers?

i used some "o"rings and washers. i need to find some nylon washers, though. need to keep the antenna from touching the steel. i don't know a whole lot about it, but that's what i've been told......
