I have a 98 V8 5.2L. It has a K&N air charger system and a Borla muffler. I heard that it dosen't take very much to get them to perform like a 5.9. Is there much I could do to my jeep to get more power out of it. I'm talking like bolt on, not major engine mods like pistons and things like that.

you've allready improved your jeep's exhale, not sure if you have a k&n drop-in or fipk for the inhale part but get the latter if you don't, and then get a performance ecu to "tie" it all together. your probably looking at around 50 hp for all three. I smell MODFEVER!

Well to get the "performance" aspect it will cost you about 1k. (Intake/ECU/Exhaust) However you'll never have our Interior/Hood/Grill/tranny/rims/stere!!!!!! :cuddle: :lol:

You could put on a Vortec S/C w/cold air injection thru K/S filter, Aquamist water injection, Thorley headers, a 3" complete exhaust and make sure your axle ratio keep up with your increased tire size and you can run away from 5.9's all day (at least at 5,500 ft of elevation). Of course, a 5.9 owner could do all this and then it is...oh well. But, I have never seen one set up like this around here.
