Here is my experience with the autologin.

When using http://nagca.com/forum
I can auto login no problem. This works well, except my browser doesn't store addresses in the location bar without the trailing /

When using http://nagca.com/forum/
I have to manually login in every time I visit the site. As stated above... only addresses with the trailing / get stored in the location bar.

I believe, from my own experience with phpBB & phpNUKE, that this is due to a configuration error. If the address in the php configuration file doesn't have the trailing /, anyone going to that address will not get logged in automatically.

I know its trivial, but its rather a pain to either type in my login, or type nagca.com/forum into my location bar everytime. (Old unix habits of finishing commands with tab die hard. :-P )

LOL... NM... found a fix.

I origionally came upon this problem when I cleared my history, locationbar and cache. This, of course, removed all my auto login passwords. (I am not on WINDOZE, I use Linux. This may be different for M$ users.)

When I typed in http://nagca.com/forum/ and logged in, I would automatically get logged out every time I shut down the browser. I found that if you enter the forum from the link on nagca.com, login and enable auto-login, after you sucessfully logged in the location bar would show http://nagca.com/forum/.

This is critical... BEFORE shutting down your browser, if you click on the location bar and press return (as if you just typed the link in) it would keep your auto-login status. This also enables Mozilla to store the link in the location bar.
