I have done a few things here and there with 4x4s. Mainly suspension mods and off road accessories. I am in Jersey and the state is tough on lifted trucks. I am now interested in taking a stock looking truck and adding engine mods to put questions in the minds of those mustang/camaro drivers. I've always been into "sleepers" ( I even have an S10 with a V8 ). The first modification I want to look into is a supercharger. I've found no one makes a kit but I have seen them on some 98 5.9s. They make the kit for the dodge trucks but not the Jeep. Does anyone have info on anything available? I'd like to get the truck to see 12s or 13s in the quarter but I really don't want to spend 10s of thousands of dollars. Thanks

I've heard you can modify a 5.2 SC for the 5.9. With all that power you're going to have to do some tranny upgrades. Search the JU speed freaks archive.

what kind of tranny mods would you need?

Stroke it. It is a little easier on the engine than having a SC because it is basically an engine rebuild, with better parts.
